Junior iOS Developer

Job Summary

We're looking for a professional, and highly motivated iOS Engineer to help build cutting-edge iOS apps for SideLabs.io and our clients. As a Junior Developer, you'll have the opportunity to gain solid mentorship by our senior staff, and the opportunity to contribute code to projects spanning across multiple industries.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Build, and test iOS apps supporting SideLabs' clients
• Update and improve codebase to fix bugs, improve UI, and address customer feedback
• Think strategically in all areas of platform, software infrastructure, and mobile application development
• Working collaboratively in an agile cross-functional team
• Contributing to the design and development of new products
• Creating and documenting test plans and test cases
• Performing manual testing when needed and identifying how to automate it moving forward
• Supporting existing products and services that people are using everyday
• Applying development best practices to your work
• Leaving the code base in a better state than you found it
• Other duties as required by the company

Qualifications and Skills

• Understanding of Agile / Lean principles
• Understanding of Continuous Delivery
• Experience in Objective C, Swift and Xcode tools
• Experience working with RESTful web services and JSON
• Understanding of the mobile development life cycle
